We will be at Texas Station for a new event... the Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook EXCHANGE... on Saturday, April 21st from 10-5.

This is a one day event and we will be busy! We are hosting a booth, holding classes and of course will be doing make n takes all day long. Come out and join us. Take a look under the "Upcoming Event" tab to see our classes and stop by to join us.

Expo - Open House

Have you heard the news? The Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo, originally scheduled for March 10-11 in Las Vegas at Texas Station has been CANCELLED.

Expo has been cancelled, but the fun hasn’t!

Since we had already started our prep for classes and Make-and-Takes, we’re hosting an open-house extravaganza on Saturday, March 10^th, 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Stop by my house at 804 Stillwater Lane, Henderson, NV 89014

Just like at our booth at Expo, there will be lots of great papers and stamps for sale at amazing prices. Join us for make-and-takes, class sign-ups, drawings, information, and MORE!

***No need to RSVP and no entry fees! Just stop by and bring your friends. Older children will be welcome, but room for strollers and toddlers cannot be accommodated.

Technique Class: Faux Silk

We will be teaching the Faux Silk technique at this session. You will make a 6 x 6 instruction sheet as well as two cards in the class so that you will be learning and using your new technique three times to be sure you understand and get a full experience of using the technique for your own projects.

Supplies Needed: Please bring your own scissors, bone folder, and variety of adhesives (tape runner, double-sided tape, dimensionals, two-way glue or whatever you like to use). Projects will be precut and specialty adhesives will be provided if needed.

Class Time: Saturday, October 29, 2011 9:30-11:00 am Class Fee: $15.00

Holiday Headstart Expo Class

In this class you will get a head start on your holiday cardmaking. We will have a large variety of holiday cards available for you to choose from on a first-come, first-serve basis as the class begins. We have a large window for this class so you can still enjoy the show and have time to join us for some cardmaking. Pick your first 20 cards (which will include our quality SU envelopes) for the original registered class fee. As you work along, if you decide you have time for more or want to do your stamping only and assemble at home, you are more than welcome to purchase additional available card kits at $1.50 each to be paid at the time of the class.

Southpoint Wrap-up

I want to thank everyone who stopped by and saw us at the show this last weekend. We had a positive experience and hope you enjoyed the time you spent with us. This weekend we will be at the Home Show and Scrapbook Expo at the South Point Casino. We will have lots of FUN projects to choose from with Holiday Make N Take items ranging from $2.00 to $10.00 to do. Stamp Camp

We are hosting a SPRING Stamp Camp on Saturday April 16th....or Sunday April 17th. Camp will be from 1-4pm and will cost $20. You will be making all of the items pictured above. Camp will be held at Robbie's house (804 Stillwater Lane in Henderson) and refreshments will be provided as always.

A challenge of LOVE

A challenge of LOVE....

As most of you know I am a great supporter of "From Our Hearts"...the non-profit organization that sends handmade cards to troops. The cards are used by military personnel to keep in touch with lived ones back home -- spouses, children, parents and friends all receive cherished notes from their loved ones on beautiful handmade cards provided by literally hundreds of volunteers from across the nation.

The urgent need for cards right now is Valentine's Day Cards. I know.. we are all working on finishing up our Christmas cards and they are needing Valentine's Day already. The Valentine shipment needs to be sent out by the end of the year so this is the plan....

I will mail our box on Sat. Dec 18, please get ALL cards to me by that cut off date. I will do a random drawing for a Heart Embosslit die for those participating with us. I have some precut cards Christmas cards that can "revamp" into Valentines available on a first come first serve basis that you can put together at home and return, or just drag out your supplies and create until you run out of ideas and time. Duplicates are definitely encouraged, you DO NOT need one time only cards unless you only have supplies for one of that specific card you made. Let's try for our own challenge of 200 cards and see how far we can surpass that.

Cards will also be available at our Holiday Potluck as our last minute push to fill our box. Please join us in the worthwhile ongoing effort and get your cards to me today.

Workshop Wrap-up

A few weeks ago now we had a great workshop with some wonderful ladies who are brand new to Stampin' Up. It was a wonderful night and we all had so much fun. We made festive holiday cards and played with the Big Shot. It was a great way to introduce ourselves to the wonderful new Stampin' Up products available this time of year.

It is always fun to get together with friends and do a little crafting... especially at this time of year.

Expo Wrap-Up

The Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo this past weekend was a huge success. We wanted to say thank you to all those who helped us make the event go off... Thank you to those who helped get our classes ready, get our make n'takes ready, those who helped get all our stuff to and from the event... and a special thank you to those who helped at the booth the two days!! Thank you!

We had a great time and met a lot of new people who we hope will join us in our stamping fun. We always like to get out and meet new people at events like this and hope that it encourages people to let their creativity flow and try new things....

Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo

Join us this weekend as we head over to Cashman Center for the Rubber Stamp and Scrapbook Expo. This is a big event and one we have been a part of in the past. We will be there on Saturday from 9-5pm and Sunday from 10-4pm. Come by and see what we have for sale... scrapbook pages, old stamps, retired papers, retired stamp pads, and of course handmade items and cards! We will also have Make N'Take items to participate in.
