This Friday is going to be filled with cuteness.... We have a great all occasions card... a fabulous, fun birthday card... and YES, we are starting on our Christmas cards! We also have another recipe card that we will be working on.
This is a Friday card class that you for sure don't want to miss.
Remember all Friday classes are at Robbie's house... 804 Stillwater Lane, Henderson, NV 89014 and they start at 1pm and another group usually starts about 4pm or so! We hope to see you all there on Friday.
We just got back from the Stampin' Up Convention and are still trying to get our feet under ourselves... What a great Convention this year (and always really)!
We had a great time...got lots of free stamp supplies....fabulous swaps....had tons of fun.....and now we are ready to dive into the new catalog and get our hand dirty with the new supplies and tools that are in it.
We will be posting pictures of the stuff we got at convention and the new things that are waiting just around the corner very soon. Keep checking back and new things should be up often....
We are hosting a SPRING Stamp Camp on Saturday April 16th....or Sunday April 17th. Camp will be from 1-4pm and will cost $20. You will be making all of the items pictured above. Camp will be held at Robbie's house (804 Stillwater Lane in Henderson) and refreshments will be provided as always.

Spring is in the air and we are making some light colored, all occasion, cards. Some can be used for Easter and/or whatever you need them for. We are also going to be making a new "plate" insert too!

Hope you are in a snowflake mood because this week all three of our cards feature fabulous snowflakes. I guess when you live in the desert you just have to pretend!
We are using the new die for the big shot and will be playing with some embossing as well. Join us as we really get down to business with our final push on our Christmas cards. Only a few more weeks to go!!!
A challenge of LOVE....
As most of you know I am a great supporter of "From Our Hearts"...the non-profit organization that sends handmade cards to troops. The cards are used by military personnel to keep in touch with lived ones back home -- spouses, children, parents and friends all receive cherished notes from their loved ones on beautiful handmade cards provided by literally hundreds of volunteers from across the nation.
The urgent need for cards right now is Valentine's Day Cards. I know.. we are all working on finishing up our Christmas cards and they are needing Valentine's Day already. The Valentine shipment needs to be sent out by the end of the year so this is the plan....
I will mail our box on Sat. Dec 18, please get ALL cards to me by that cut off date. I will do a random drawing for a Heart Embosslit die for those participating with us. I have some precut cards Christmas cards that can "revamp" into Valentines available on a first come first serve basis that you can put together at home and return, or just drag out your supplies and create until you run out of ideas and time. Duplicates are definitely encouraged, you DO NOT need one time only cards unless you only have supplies for one of that specific card you made. Let's try for our own challenge of 200 cards and see how far we can surpass that.
Cards will also be available at our Holiday Potluck as our last minute push to fill our box. Please join us in the worthwhile ongoing effort and get your cards to me today.
